The physics of that in zero gravity…I assume the toilet has to be a vaccum? Otherwise you’d 💩 and it would float back up to sit against your ass ..?

    2. They announced tonight that the bathroom fan isn’t working, so the crew must use the backup bathroom. They’ll try to fix the fan. It worries me that a piece of equipment has failed already.

Did you see the unisex junkdocks on their space suits?? Looks like you can just siphon the waste out of the orifaces….

Why does it have the same fake wood wall paneling as my grandfather’s basement?

Atleast they have a toilet and dont have to shit in a bag…..were living in the future now space bathrooms.

    6. I hear they’re having trouble with it? Gonna make for a long trip.

Wonder if they’ve jiggled the handle?

It’s so odd to me. These astronauts are in many ways top-tier human beings. They usually have doctorates (sometimes more than 1), they often have high level military ranks. They devote so much of their life to study of the ins-and-outs of every aspect of their jobs. Hyper-detail oriented.

Somehow they need to put this goofy warning label on the toilet.

It’s interesting how I get the sense that it’s on *a* ship, but *space* ship is not the first thing that comes to mind. It all looks so… makeshift? Like the handlebar could have come from Home Depot. It reminds me of the toilets you see on fishing boats honestly.

They say it’s a bathroom where’s the bath 🤷🏻‍♂️ also that toilets useless can’t even drop a load in it ‘not load bearing’ indeed

    10. It doesn’t look like Orion is bigger than the Apollo capsule but it’s over 3X the volume. 692 vs 218 cubic feet.
